As an intern at Hearst Magazines and Books, I gained hands-on experience developing books and bookazines, covering ideation, manuscript development, design, and production. I also had the privilege of assisting editors and team members in daily content production, researching trends and competitive titles, fact-checking, writing copy, and sourcing content from magazine databases for use in manuscripts. I also contributed to developing marketing mailing lists by researching experts and crafting targeted pitch letters to reporters.
